Hello! I'm Joe Russo, and as far back as I can remember, I've always felt a strong desire to express myself through art/animation and have been fascinated by how technology can enhance reality. This passion and curiosity fuels both my personal and professional projects, helping me better understand myself and hopefully contribute something meaningful to the world.

When working on art/animation projects, understanding the purpose behind an idea and developing its potential is fundamental to my process. To bring an idea to life, I thrive on balancing project management, creative vision, and technical skills to make the entire production pipeline effective and fun. I enjoy sketching and digital painting to quickly explore design and mood, then I love translating that rough vision into a refined visual style that best communicates the idea. 

When managing and supporting computer technology, I strive to holistically optimize hardware, software, data, networking, cloud services, security, operational procedures, and other systems to create a resilient infrastructure. I’m also deeply committed to helping others achieve their goals by proactively resolving technical problems they may encounter. I'm constantly learning, adapting, reflecting, and always eager for the next challenge.

When I'm not pursuing artistic and technical endeavors, I enjoy spending time with my family, going on bike rides, hiking, exploring nature, playing video games, board games, learning new things, and cooking.
